finaly got posting some photos of the graduation work
and here is my artist statement for them.

This collection of work is based on dissection of remnants of war.
Gasmasks, bullets, shrapnel, tank-stoppers and shattered bricks are incorporated in the various works.

During previous wars it was not uncommon to see public art, railings and other metal ornament being removed, melted, and made into ammunition. By incorporating these materials I am in a small way reclaiming these objects.

As well as incorporating materials linked to warfare, I wish to explore the idea of personal security, and the body as battlefield.

Anyway, I'm drunk, as you might've understood, and noman won't get no damn pencildot from me today, though I am in the mood for drawinbhjk- ooops, just fell off the chair, damn Jack! Hvis ikke jeg er innlagt på 6.2 som jeg pleier :) Men de har jo kaffe der og, alt du trenger er ei øks eller noe og så drar du ned til byen. Du får til og med politieskorte opp, eget rom, tre måltider om dagen og alt det statsdopet du kan tenke deg. Ganske stilig. Helt til du vil ut da. De kan fort bli litt gretne da.
